Beautiful pattern, which I‘ve already made four times. I have a few more planned, because everyone says they‘d like one themselves. I think it‘s one of the most popular Lopapeysa patterns, and there‘s a very good reason for that- the pattern and the colors are beautiful with the Lopi wool!

I bought the yarn on my recent trip to Iceland, and chose this pattern for my husband. Good range of sizes. Working with plötulopi has been easy - the two strands twist as knitted off the plate and the result is strong but soft and airy. The colors remind me of Iceland’s basalt mountains and snow. Usually I am a top-down knitter but am appreciating the Icelandic method of saving the most interesting part - the yoke - until the end.
I really like your patterns. For me they(it’s my third) are totally clear and understandable. I enjoy them a lot. Wish every german pattern have been written that kind of style…
May you can add „die Erhöhung wird durch verkürzte Reihen erreicht“ - „Short row shaping is added for neckline“
It’s more clear but every german Knitter will recognised it, if they read „wendemasche“. Hope you‘ll unterstand what I mean, my english is non practised that much.
