This sweater, designed by Védís Jónsdóttir, is made from unspun Icelandic wool known as Plötulopi.

Sweater is knitted in 2-ply unspun Icelandic wool called Plötulopi.

Gauge

2-ply plötulopi: 12 sts and 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm measured over St st using 6½ mm needles.

6½ mm (US 10½) circular needles 40 and 80 cm
5 mm (US 8) circular needle 80 cm
4½ mm (US 7) circular needle 40 cm
5 mm and 6½ mm double pointed needles
